We’re going to the One World Festival!

Transition New Mills will be having a stall at the One World Festival on Saturday 6th July at High Lea Park, 12-5pm.

Our aims that day will be:

  • to raise awareness of the group and what it aims to do
  • to encourage participation and actual delivery of projects through a ‘Win Your Project’ competition
  • to increase membership
  • to promote Clock New Mills sponsored walks for the Solar Schools project

The ‘Win Your Project’ will encourage people to suggest practical projects they would like to see happening in New Mills. Members will then be able to vote for their preferred one from a shortlist, and Transition New Mills, along with the project’s sponsor, will endeavour to make it happen!  So get your suggestions ready!

We will also be taking new and renewed membership on the day, so if you haven’t yet joined up this would be a good opportunity.

See you there!
