AGM Postponed!

Our Administrative Group has taken the decision to postpone our AGM, originally planned for tomorrow evening (1st May).

There are two reasons for this.

  • Firstly, due to other (particularly work) commitments on the part of the Administrative Group, we’re only just now finalising our reports. This would have meant presenting reports for the first time at the meeting and we felt that this would not provide members the time to provide the scrutiny they may need.
  • Secondly, we have begun to receive a large number of apologies, especially from some of our most active members. It would be a shame not to have as many people there as can make it, as this is one particular time in the year we can use for reflection, feedback and ideas to move Transition New Mills on.

We didn’t take this decision lightly and we’re really sorry about this, especially if people have had to rearrange other commitments to be able to attend.

We’ll announce a new date for the meeting (and circulate reports) very soon.
