Village SOS

Find out how your community can benefit from the Village SOS Campaign at an Interactive Workshop on Wednesday 22nd July 2015 at Tansley Village Hall, 2.30 pm to 5.00 pm.

The workshop is part of the Village SOS ‘community to community’ learning network, which sees volunteers from social enterprises across the UK become mentors to share the secrets of their success.

Local communities in Derbyshire will have the opportunity to find out more about the Village SOS campaign and the one-to-one support it can offer to those interested in setting up a community project or social enterprise.

The event will be informal, with short talks from Rural Action Derbyshire and the Village SOS Team, Q&A sessions and workshops that aim to give one-to-one hints, tips and advice on setting up a community project.

For more information visit the website,  www.villagesos.org.uk  or contact the Village SOS Community Manager, Christ Cowcher on 01285 653477 ext 215.

Thanks to Laurie James from Sustainable Hayfield for circulating.
